In 2007, under the Computer Choppers name, we pioneered the way decorative electroplating was applied to Apple computers by introducing the first ever 24kt Gold & Diamonds Macbook Pro laptop. Since then, our specialty decorative plated Apple products (such as the iPhone, iPad, iMac, Macbook Pro, and Macbook Air) have won critical acclaim with customers around the world. We offer over 100 different plating finishes in combination with an unlimited number of engraving or jeweled designs. Our standard plating process includes triple plating (copper, nickel, and final metal coat) on all items. Soft metals receive an additional urethane clear coat for added durability. There is no exception to this plating method. You may find other companies willing to cut corners on plating to achieve a cheap price but you won’t find it here. Our process ensures proper adhesion, a perfect finish, correct color tone, and zero corrosion over the life of the product.

As part of our commitment to high quality plating and custom finishes, we include a protective clear coat on almost every part we plate. A clear coating enables you to handle the product without fear of damaging the surface. Only two types of plating (chrome and platinum) do not require a clear coat due to their hardness and supreme durability but we give customers the option to include this if requested. Most products will receive a baked enamel or polyurethane clear coat by default (our standard coating since 2008). This is a 100% crystal clear coating that is almost unnoticeable to the naked eye because of its perfectly transparent finish.
Other optional requests can include powder coat clear; a thick, hard coating for extreme environments when coating thickness is not a concern. PVD clear is a vapor deposited clear coat on specific metal and plastic plated parts when standard coatings cannot be applied. Synthetic clear coats are also available using custom blends with UV-curing for hardness requirements beyond that of a standard clear coat.
We apply our clear coat based on specific intended use of each product and type of plating selected. Customer use, environment, climate, hardness rating, etc are all be taken into account when choosing a protective coating. This selection process is typically handled by our engineers based on item you are ordering. We give the option for customer selection when requested.
Our research, testing, and engineering of futuristic coatings started in 2008 as demand for our products expanded worldwide. While our competitors were busy selling bare gold plating to unsuspecting customers, we were applying crystal clear baked-on coatings capable of resisting years of wear and abuse. Today we continue that dedication to impeccable quality standards and excellence with every product we customize.

Since 2009 we’ve offered color anodizing (or anodising) on Apple products and other aluminum electronics. Anodizing is a process that applies a protective oxide layer to aluminum in a variety of colors. This is the same process Apple uses from the factory on all of their products. It is highly scratch resistant and offers a durability not found in any other decorative treatment. The addition of anodizing to our range of services gives our customers even more options when special ordering their products. For example, a laptop can now have both 24kt Gold plating and color anodizing on different panels. Anodizing is an environmentally friendly process which is more durable than paint and offers a soft look and feel to the surface. Each product can be finished in a matte (non reflective) finish or chemically polished metallic finish. Blended finishes can also be applied using special techniques to apply splattering, color fades, graphics, and engraving (under or over the anodizing). .

We take great pride in creating jewelry for all electronic products. Whether it’s a small logo or personalized text, we assign our best designers, craftsmen, and gem setters to each project. The process of applying diamond jewelry to an iPhone, iPad, or Macbook is complicated to say the least. Most electronics are not created with jewelry customization in mind. These diamond additions are adapted to fit each item without compromising the function of the product. We cast and machine parts to fit perfectly while leaving the hardware unchanged. ADEMOV ensures when purchasing jewelry for your electronics that all diamonds are sourced responsibly and from conflict-free countries. We do not sell Swarovski crystals on any of our custom electronics. Our products receive only the best natural diamonds, sapphires, and semi-precious gems. We know when you buy a piece of fine jewelry, you’re making an important purchase. We make sure all of our custom made jewelry is created with the highest standards in the luxury electronics world.
